Pakistan’s first-ever Electric Taxi launched in Islamabad

Pakistan: First time, Electric taxis are launched by Malik Amin Aslam, Pakistan’s Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Climate Change, for northern districts, which ensure the vision of PM Imran Khan for Clean Green Pakistan.
Amin Aslam said that switching to e-taxi will save Pakistan Rs2 billion in oil imports while also providing economic benefits to drivers. He added that the e-taxi driver would save Rs12,000 in the budget.
According to the private company engineer that created the e-taxi, the e-taxi could easily travel up to 250 kilometers with full battery charging.
At the launch of the first-ever electric vehicle taxi services in the hilly terrain of Northern areas, Amin Aslam congratulated Faisal Movers and Sapphire Group on their joint initiative as they embrace the future in advanced mobility and sustainable growth.
