Islamabad: As per details, The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) of the Cabinet approved many infrastructure uplift schemes worth billions for the country’s development.
Shaukat Tarin(Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue ) presided over the meeting. Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, federal secretaries, Minister for Finance for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Taimur Khan Jhagra, and several officials attended the meeting.
According to details, the government aims to promote tourism and improve connectivity. The ECNEC approved the construction of the Dir Motorway worth Rs38,991.382 million. The project will be located in Lower Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and will include a series of tunnels, bridges, flyovers, and underpasses.
As the Prime Minister envisaged, the ECNEC welcomed such projects to make Pakistan a tourism hub for domestic and international tourists.
