Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed recently distributed allotment letters to successful applicants of low-cost housing project launched under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program.
The process of the computerized ballot was used in selecting the applicants. The event was organized by the Punjab Housing & Town Planning Agency (PHATA).
Successful applicants of 400 residential plots measuring about 3 marlas and 189 residential plots measuring 5 marlas. These applicants were offered plots at a cost of PKR 114,000 per marla on a payment plan spanning two years.
A total of 459 applications were received for 3-marla plots and for 5 marlas 950 applications were received.
