Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reports the current account surplus of USD 773 Million, official such a surplus is reported after long 17 years wait.
Moreover, the SBP report reveals a 61% shrink in the Current Account Deficit (CAD) in comparison to last year. From the last 4 years after the PTI government took charge.
This surplus is the outcome of all measures taken to stimulate the economic activities in exports & highest remittance recorded ever from abroad. this will decrease pressure on foreign exchange reserves & will be better for our economy.
National Accounts Committee (NAC) revised the GDP growth to 3.94%.
