4 New Mega Projects approved for Lahore

Lahore: According to news sources, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has been given initial approval for four mega infrastructure projects for Lahore, which will come at the cost of PKR 10 billion and include Shahdara Modern Turbo Roundabout.
As per details, a few days ago, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Ahmed Aziz Tarar presented the four mega projects for CM Buzdar’s approval. The Chief Minister ordered the relevant agencies to get projects approval following the completion of PC-1.In this project, Turbo roundabouts and eight ramps would be built in Shahdara at PKR 5 billion. The building of the roundabout will give advantages of 300,000 vehicles. Similarly, from Ghazi Road to Bhatti Chowk will be built 6.5-kilometer dual carriageway and renovated for PKR 1.80 billion.
In addition, eight junctions of Lahore would also be improved at the expense of PKR 1.40 billion. Bhatti Chowk, Data Darbar, Faisal Chowk, Gulshan Ravi T Junction, Nishtar Junction, and Kahna Kacha Roundabout are included in this project. While a PKR 900 million restoration project for Data Nagar Burj and the adjacent region.
